Nairobi — The management of the country's six main airstrips will be handed over to the private sector in coming years, airport regulators have said.
The Kenya Airports Authority is currently evaluating bids from private investors to take over and run the Ukunda airstrip on the South Coast. Should the deal prove successful, at least five other busy airstrips will be handed over to private firms.
