Harare — CHINHOYI Municipality has applied to borrow $132 billion from the Government under the Public Sector Investment Programme for capital development in the decommissioned mining towns of Alaska and Shackleton.
The money will be used to rehabilitate and set up sewer infrastructure in the mining areas which have been left derelict and without essential service such as clean water and collection of refuse following the closure of the mines.
