Nigeria: Gunmen Invade Oil Firm, Abduct 9 Expatriates, Nigerian in Bayelsa

Yenagoa — Armed gunmen in the early hours of yesterday invaded the Korean oil-servicing firm, Daewoo in Yenagoa the Bayelsa State capital and abducted nine expatriates and a Nigerian staff.

Vanguard learnt that the incident the first in the New Year exactly one month after four expatriates were kidnapped in Brass occurred between 4am and 4.45am at the Daewoo company premises at Swali on the bank of the Ikoli creek in the suburb of the capital city.
