Addis Ababa — Staff of the Ethiopian embassy in Kenya and Ethiopians living in Nairobi expressed happiness over the victory achieved by the Ethiopian government over the terrorist group in Somalia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In a press statement it sent to ENA yesterday, the Ministry quoted the Ethiopian embassy in Kenya as saying the staff and Ethiopians expressed support to the counter-offensive made by the Ethiopian army and Somalia security forces.

In a meeting they held on January 4, 2006, they expressed joy over the victory achieved by the army to the army, people and government of Ethiopia.
