Uganda: Local Birth Attendants Warned On Ethics

Kampala — TRADITIONAL birth attendants in Rakai district have been warned against executing duties outside their authority.

The personnel officer, Jane francis Kisitu, said some birth attendants assist women giving birth for the first time and those expecting twins as well as carry out caesarean operations.
