'Joy and Misery in External Tertiary Placements' There is an issue that deserves informed debate by the public and requires feedback from the education sector. This is a concern about the security, safety and the type of social experiences over young Batswana enrolled in tertiary institutions in other countries.
For quite a while now external placement for many Form Five leavers and some officers on in-service training takes place in Southern Africa, Australia and Asia, due to lower costs of tuition and other factors considered relevant to the Botswana context.
