Finance minister has announced an allocation of R5.3 billion to improve the remuneration of health workers and increase recruitment levels in that sector.
Delivering his budget speech in Parliament, Cape Town, Wednesday, he said government planned to increase the number of health workers by about 30 000 over the next five years.
