Zimbabwe: Parks Authority Rescues Neglected Reptiles

Harare — THE Parks and Wildlife Management Authority and a wildlife consultant, Mr Ben Vermulen, have rescued three underfed crocodiles, seven sluggish snakes, including a python with a broken back, and three tortoises, which were neglected at Haka Game Park near Cleveland Dam.

The authority took the drastic measure following reports that the reptiles were not being looked after properly.
