Mogadishu — Watery diarrhea still keeps weighing down thousands of children in Bai province, southern Somalia, where hospitals lack the proper medicines in order to treat children ailing from the plague.
Hassan Aden, a medical officer, in Bur Hakaba settlement, told Shabelle by phone that the disease has become massive infectious, spreading fast in the settlement. "Every day, at least three children die from watery diarrhea in this settlement and there are no hospitals or enough medicines in Bur Hakaba," he said.
