Sierra Leone: Ports Authority Employee Fined for Registering Twice

Freetown — A staff of Sierra Leone Ports Authority (SLPA), Alie Clarkson was Wednesday fined Le 100,000 by Magistrate Bankole Shyllon of Court No 3 or risk six months imprisonment.

According to the particulars of the offence, Clarkson on Monday 12th March, 2007 was caught at the Eastern Municipal School, Kennedy Street attempting to register for the second time in the ongoing voter registration exercise by officers of the National Electoral Commission (NEC).
