Harare — ZIMBABWE is sitting on more than 12 tonnes of ivory running into several billions of dollars, The Herald Business gathered this week.
This follows the suspension of ivory trade in July last year by the National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority pending the establishment of a monitoring system to oversee trade in the commodity.
