South Africa: State Blames 'Turf Wars' for Slowing Growth Bid

Cape Town — "Turf wars" involving government departments have been blamed for slowing the implementation of government's Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative (Asgi-SA).

In its first annual assessment of the programme, the Presidency said "territorialism" among state departments was "rife".
