Warri — THE 5-day old strike action embarked upon by workers of the Chevron Escravos -Gas-to-Liquid, EGTL/ EPG project was called off, Saturday, even as the company insisted that it would not negotiate with the striking workers under duress.
Negotiations with the workers representatives, Chevron Management and the Delta state Government collapsed last week at the Government House Annex, Warri, when the workers insisted that the CNL must enter into negotiation with their lawyer, Mr. Edward Ekpoko before any formal agreement could be reached to call off the strike action.
