Addis Ababa — Activities are well in progress to colourfully celebrate the Ethiopian Millennium in Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said citing the Ethiopian Embassy in Tel Aviv.

A series of discussions held regarding the celebration among the Ethiopian community and various millennium celebration organizing committee were have been formed with members drawn from the community and pertinent organizations, it said.

Members of the committee held discussion with member of the Ethiopian Millennium National Council Secretariat and representatives in Israel.

The members reached agreement on the various plans set by the secretariat and expressed their readiness to discharge their duties and responsibilities effectively.
