Zambia: Magistrate Rebukes DPP's Office

PRINCIPAL resident magistrate, Edward Musona, yesterday rebuked the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)'s office for unnecessary adjournments in the case involving former Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) chairman, Francis Kaunda.

Magistrate Musona, rebuked the DPP's office after State Counsel, Sebastian Zulu, applied that the case be adjourned to June 11 because State Counsel, Christopher Mundia, who was prosecuting the matter, was reportedly unwell.
