Johannesburg — THE Lions have taken tips from the Springboks on how to overcome the anticipated onslaught from the charged-up Brumbies at Ellis Park on Saturday and continue their rapid march up the Super 14 log standings, writes Zeena Isaacs.

Lightning-fast Lions centre Jaco Pretorius said yesterday blunting the threat posed by the Australian national halfback pairing of George Gregan and Stephen Larkham -- who have created headaches for the Boks in the past -- will be a key to success because a large part of the Brumbies' game plan centres on them.
