Nigeria: Why FG Introduced Bio-Fuels, By Kupolokun

Enugu — Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Engineer Funso Kupolokun, yesterday gave insight into why bio-fuels were introduced into the nation's energy mix, explaining that it was aimed at integrating the agricultural sector with the energy sector.

Kupolokun also said yesterday, at the on-going 18th Enugu International Trade Fair, that the idea of establishing the $350million Nigerian Content Support Fund (NCSF), was to create an avenue through which indigenous companies can source funds to compete with their foreign counterparts.
