Nairobi — Egypt has issued a two-week notice asking its citizens working as madrassa teachers in Kenya to leave for fear of being targeted as suspected terrorists.
Muslim leaders yesterday said the Egyptian embassy had asked several madrassa teachers in Lamu, Malindi and Mombasa to pack up and leave after Kenyan authorities and the US investigation agency, FBI, stepped up the war on terror.
