Nigeria: Netcom Wins ISP of the Year Award

Lagos — Netcom Africa, an internet communication infrastructure provider was awarded the ISP of the year award at the 10th annual City People Awards for excellence held recently in Lagos .

Other ISPs nominated alongside were Direct on PC, Link serve and Swift Network. Netcom Africa had also last year won three awards, including "Achievement of excellence in approaching the corporate market from Intelsat", "Best VSAT company of the year" at the Nigeria Telecoms Awards and "ISP of the year" at the Nigerian Information Technology and Telecom Awards.

Speaking on the recent award, the Marketing Manager, Netcom Africa, Mrs. Lolade Shonubi, said: "It is a deep honour and a great start to a new year for us to win this prestigious award.
