Luanda — The governor of the Luanda Province, Job Castelo Capapinha, has called a meeting for this Tuesday with taxi drivers that operate in this city, to discuss issues relating to their work.
The discussing agenda has not been made public, however a source linked to the office of the governor has revealed that the meeting will analyse the behaviour of taxi drivers during their work, mainly regarding the respect of the traffic rules and public moral.
In Luanda, taxi drivers are often seen doing dangerous manoeuvres, playing loud and obscene music, as well as neglecting the servicing of their cars, thus their vehicles often breakdown in the motorway, causing problems in the traffic, among other situations.
