Today, husbands no longer wait in awe fearing for the worse, as the clock ticks for their expectant wives to go into labour. Thanks to CHPS or Community-based Health Planning and Services, an innovative community healthcare delivery system that takes health care to the doorsteps of a people ranked as poor by the Ghana Living Standard Survey (GLSS4).
