Port Harcourt — Health workers in Khana Local Government area of Rivers State, have petitioned Governor Peter Odili, to prevail on local government chairmen to pay their Harmonised Public Service Salary Structure (HAPSS) for 54 months, amounting to N534, 954,778.92.
The workers, who embarked on a mild protest to press home their demand last week, are also urging the governor to prevail on the chairmen to pay their seven months salary arrears before the end of this administration on May 29.
