Liberia: Illiteracy Eradication is a Tough Task

Rev. J. Emmanuel Giddings, Executive Director of the Adult Illiteracy Program, called Alfalit International has said that illiteracy eradication in the country is a tough task that needs the effort of every Liberian.

He said that the greatest problem to the reconstruction process of the country which has been hit by the 15 years of civil conflict is the high rate of uneducated people. He added saying "uneducated people are very hard to deal with in a gradual development plan.
