THE catholic bishops' Pastoral letter of last month appears to have grossly incensed President Mugabe who last week made veiled threats at the prelates. The clerics have suddenly found themselves on the list of those who have taken "a dangerous route" of standing up to those responsible for Zimbabwe's democratic deficit.
Mugabe found to be offensive assertions in the letter that elections had been rigged and that "colonial structures and institutions of pre-independent Zimbabwe continued to persist in our society".
