Namibia: Shock Second Time Fuel Price Increase

Windhoek — The Ministry of Mines and Energy this week announced a fuel price increase which came into effect on Thursday.

The prices of 93 Octane and 95 Octane increased by 21 cents per litre, respectively, while the price of diesel increased by 12 cents per litre. The increase means the new Walvis Bay pump prices will be as follows: 93 Octane Leaded Replacement Petrol will now cost N$6.37 per litre, 95 Octane Unleaded Petrol will now cost N$6.39 while diesel will now cost N$6.41 per litre.
