Asmara — In line with the preparations being made to colorfully celebrate the 16th anniversary of Independence Day, different art shows including songs and dramas were staged at Cinema Odeon yesterday.

The event was attended by invited guest and spectators, during which famous artistes and Zara and Sibrit musical troupes staged various songs. Moreover, a musical drama "Tshifto Hanetai" was presented.

The National Holidays Coordinating Committee disclosed that similar activities would be staged in the days ahead at Cinema Odeon.
