Nigeria: Construction of A/Ibom Int'l Airport Gulps $57m

Lagos — Akwa Ibom state government has spent about $57 million in the construction of Akwa Ibom International Airport , which is billed to resume operation in January next year.

This was made known by the Special Assistant to the Governor of the state, Mr. Michael Ukpong during the opening ceremony for the training of the first batch of workers for the airport at Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) training school in Lagos yesterday.
