Lagos — THE dust raised by the just concluded 2007 elections seems to have started settling down amongst the citizens who were massively denied their franchise. This is a typical characteristic of Nigerians, and our leaders know this. Hence they perpetrate these monumental crimes with impunity and with the belief that with time, everything will return to normal.

This is also applicable to the contestants who either contested to register their presence in the country's political arena; seek political appointments; remain part and parcel of Nigerian history or to be deemed still relevant in the nation's politics.
