Kampala — ALEX Malinga clocked 2 hours 17 minutes and 17 seconds to win the ING Europe Marathon in Luxembourg yesterday. The time was slower than his personal best of 2:12:12 which he set at the 2005 Helsinki World championships where he finished sixth overall.
The Ugandan runner previously won the Mombasa marathon in 2003 and the Kigali Peace Marathon in 2004.
