Uganda: Title Chasing KCC Host Masaka LC

Kampala — It promises to be a cracker at Nakivubo Stadium when title challengers Kampala City Council FC faces Masaka Local Council this evening. Masaka ended KCC FC's Super League leadership with a 1-0 victory in the last game of the first round at the Recreation Grounds and KCC will be seeking to avenge that defeat.

KCC is second on the league table and must win to keep their fading title aspirations alive as they lie six points behind leaders Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

However, KCC tactician Jackson Mayanja said his opponents are one of the most dangerous sides in the league.

"Masaka is not an easy side but they have to pay for the damages they caused us in the first round. They played well because they were home but today is also our chance to revenge because we are also at home," Mayanja said.
