Freetown — The high number of teenage girls posing as Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) in Kenema district has increased the rate of prostitution in the township and has become the latest concern to be expressed by residents.
CSW could be easily noticed alone 'How For Do Lorry Park.' Identified as Aminata Conteh for this publication, a 13-year old girl disclosed to Concord Times she and her colleagues traveled from Freetown, Lungi and Bo to Kenema to sell their bodies in return for financial reward.
"We are getting more costumers as our clients prefer sleeping with teenagers," she disclosed, adding that her parents forced her into the trade at this early age.
"My mother asked me out of our family house in Freetown. I was left with no option but to join my colleagues do prostitution. Kenema is one of the areas we are making a lot of money," she said.
Conteh said they are not happy with their current status but they don't have any means to make their living.
