Cameroon: Nso Fon Exhorts Elderly to Be Self-Reliant

Overwhelmed by the successes registered by the Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance, CDVTA, that helps the elderly find new ways of earning a living, His Majesty, Fon Sehm M binglo of Nso, has appealed to the elderly people of his Fondom to close ranks with CDVTA so as to become self-reliant.

Welcoming the Director of CDVTA, Francis Njuakom Nchii, and some of his staff, who were in Kumbo, recently, to install the Kumbo Chapter of the organisation, Fon Mbinglo told the elderly that only lazy elderly people are still looking up to their children for micro assistance to sustain their lives at old age.
