Nigeria: Obasanjo Resumes School

Lagos — Nigeria's former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, 70, yesterday commenced academic studies at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), with an appeal to the media to see themselves as disciples of truth rather than peddling rumour.

Obasanjo who made the appeal during the special orientation excercise organised for him at the institution where he is currently studying Christian Theology as a post graduate diploma student, enrolled at the institution last year, but could not resume due to state matters.
