Maputo — Mozambican Health Minister Ivo Garrido on Wednesday attacked those NGOs who think community mobilisation is the same things as telling communities what to do.
Opening a national meeting on community involvement in health care, Garrido noted that in the first decade after Mozambican independence in 1975, community mobilisation in defence of health "was an integral part of our national health policy, and received top priority".
