Maseru — Efforts by Lesotho Football Association (LFA) Administration Manager Mokhosi Mohapi to explain away the abortion of the Cranes versus Lesotho Crocodiles African Nations Cup tie have failed to impress anyone.
Ugandan fans are finding it hard to believe there is nothing sinister to the decision, first to switch the match from the traditional kick off time of 4 pm, to 3 and then to 2 p.m. in a space of a few days. The game's subsequent postponement to Tuesday afternoon has only strengthened fans' belief that a macabre plot led to the games' miscarriage.
