Uganda: Central Bank Warns Public On Bank Choice

Kampala — THE public should study and interpret operating results of financial institutions through published statements, Justin Bagyenda, the executive director for supervision at the central bank, has cautioned.

"A better understanding of such statements will assist depositors and other stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding financial performance of financial institutions in which they place their investments and conduct business," Bagyenda explained.
