Ghana: State Dribbles Holes in Cocaine Barons' 'No Case' Submission

THE FAST Track High Court before whom two alleged drug barons, Kwabena Amaning alias Tagor and Alhaji Issah Abass, are standing trial in the most talked-about missing 76 parcels of cocaine from the vessel MV Benjamin that docked at the shores of Ghana last year, is to decide on June 27, 2007 the submission of no case filed by the defence team.

Countering submissions made by counsel for the two accused, Ms. Gertrude Aikens, Acting Director for Public Prosecution (DPP) had stated that the State had been able to establish a case against the accused.
