Nigeria: Adebajo-Fraser Tasks Labour, Opposition

Lagos — A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Princess Gloria Adebajo-Fraser has urged members of opposition parties to support the President Umaru Yar'Adua government in its bid to move the nation forward by accepting the overtures made to them by the new government.

Speaking yesterday on the state of the nation, Adebajo-Fraser also called on labour to call off the ongoing national strike following the concessions made by the Federal Government during its negotiation with Labour, adding that it is imperative in the interest of the nation's economy which has been paralysed by the strike was declared and the masses who are the most affected by the strike.
