Nigeria: Dokubo - Nwuche Asks Militants to Lay Down Arms

Abuja — Former speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Chibudom Nwuche has called on militants in the Niger Delta region to reciprocate the good gesture of government on the release of the leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo by laying down their arms and cease hostage taking.

In an interview with Vanguard in Abuja, Mr. Nwuche said the 'bold, courageous and popular decision of the government and the judiciary 'must be reciprocated by everybody in the region."
