Mogadishu — The Kenyan government rebuffed opening its Northeastern with Somalia following repeated requests from local authorities in Somalia's Balet Hawa town near the Kenyan border district of Mendhera.
Shabelle reporter, Ahmed Salihi in Gedo province, southern Somalia, said the administration of Kenya's Northeastern region stated that opening the boundary between Somalia and Kenya hinges on improving the border security.
