Sereign Momodou Joof, the Public Relations Officer of Brikama Area Council(BAC) has disclosed that his council, in collaboration with the Department of State for Fisheries and Water resoueces has received a grant from the Japanses government for the building of a fish market in Brikama.
Speaking to the the Daily Observer recently, Mr Joof said that his council is deeply concerned with the issue. He said the project will greatly help fishmongers, by providing them with a cold storage facility to enable them keep their fish for longer hours.
