Kenya: June Bloodiest Month in Recent Times As 112 Are Killed in Gang-Related Violence

Nairobi — A total of 112 people were killed in gang-related violence and police shootings making June one of the most violent months in Kenya's recent history.

Twenty eight of the victims were members of the public who were beheaded or shot dead by assailants believed to be Mungiki sect members.
