Uganda: Entebbe Hospital Gets Modern Casualty Ward

Kampala — WORK on the construction of a modern double storeyed casualty ward at Entebbe General Hospital has started. The work, which will also include equipping the theatre, is estimated to cost sh2.3b. Robert Mpanga, the deputy hospital administrator, said the work would be completed by August. "The complex will include a theatre and mobile X-ray facilities," said Mpanga.

He said the project is one of the Government's strategies to make CHOGM a success. "Entebbe is one of the places targeted to host delegates," Mpanga said.
