Sierra Leone: EFSL Probes 2015 Millennium Development Goal Target

Freetown — A recent report by the Evangelical Fellowship of Sierra Leone, an alliance of Christian Organizations in Sierra Leone yesterday tried to assess the progress Sierra Leone has made in achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) agreed in 2000.

In the biggest conference ever, the United Nations agreed that by 2015, the right of each person on the right to health, education, shelter and security should be realized globally. Poverty, hunger, disease, adequate shelter, gender equality, education and environmental sustainability were the prime targets of the MDGs.
