Gambia: In Kassa Kunda VDC Crisis - Police Boss Orders Investigation

According to information reaching Foroyaa, the office of the Inspector General of Police has ordered for investigations into a recent deepening crisis within the folks of the Kassa Kunda village Development Committee in Kombo Central.

Sources noted that the reason for the Police investigation is as a result of a violent clash between two factions of the said VDC on 23 June at the said village. It was reported that a youth, Lamin Bojang, was beaten into a state of coma and was rushed to the Brikama Health Centre for medical attention and was discharged a day after.
