Kampala — BURUNDI'S Amicale Des Sportif, Rwanda's ISAE and Lugulu Girls from Kenya have withdrawn from the 11th edition of the KAVC Memorial volleyball tournament that starts today.
Lugulu withdrew to focus on a local competition, while Amicale and ISAE did not give reasons.
Burundi's Police team Lukinzo volleyball club spokesman Jean Marie said yesterday that they will take part in the Mukwano-sponsored tournament.
Kenya's Kakamega Prisons and Administration Police men's clubs, APR, National University of Rwanda and Umubano all from Rwanda, were among the foreign teams that were expected by press time yesterday.
