Nigeria: Govt Spends N97.3m On Sam Mbakwe Airport

Owerri — Imo State Government has said that it spent the sum of N97.3 million to complete the Air line offices at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport Owerri, Imo State in order to easy accommodation problems of Airlines in the fast growing airport.

Speaking while performing the handing over ceremony of the complex to the management of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Mr. Okechukwu Anyanwu, he said that it was in fulfillment of Governor Ikedi Ohakim's determination to improve the infrastructures at the state.
