Southern Africa: Country's Tourism Vice Minister At SADC Meeting in Zimbabwe

Harare — An Angolan delegation, led by the vice-minister of Hotels and Tourism, Paulino Domingos Baptista will attend Friday in Victoria Falls region, Zimbabwe, the ministerial meeting of Tourism Ministers of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

The event will discuss issues related to regional tourism, implementation of a single visa system in the SADC region, as well as the 2010 World Cup sponsored by FIFA to take place in South Africa.

Experts, with the Regional Tourism Organisation of South Africa (RETOSA), comprising 14 countries, are holding as from Tuesday a three-day meeting for the preparations of ministerial meeting scheduled for Friday (July 27).

SADC comprises of Angola, DRC, Mozambique, Lesotho, South Africa, Namibia, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Mauritius, Botswana, Madagascar and Tanzania.
