Luanda — Southern Africa bishops on Thursday here considered that good governance is based on the justice guaranteed by a strong defence of human rights.
On a message addressed to the SADC region's faithful, the bishops affirmed that justice avoids the exclusion of the ruled people from partaking in opportunities that are for all.
The bishops met on July 20-26, in Luanda, to reflect on the need for good governance and mentioned the inclusion of social equity in justice.
At the end of the event was held a religious service that marked the official closing of the assembly, during which Angola was elected to chair the Inter-regional Meeting of Bishops of Southern Africa (IMBISA) organisation.
