Luanda — The Angolan minister of Science and Technology, João Baptista Ngandajina, will represent the country at the meeting of SADC's Ministers of Science and Technology, which will take place in Pretoria, South Africa, from 30 July to 02 August, Angop has learnt.
According to an official communiqué, the SADC ministers will analyse the protocol on Science, Technology and Innovations of the regional organisation's member states, being this one of the main highlights of the gathering.
Meanwhile, Angola will take to the event important contributions from a national meeting held last May, which was attended by technicians from several institutions, who work in the field of scientific research throughout the country.
The Southern Africa Development Community (SADC)'s members states are Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Mozambique, Malawi, DR Congo, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Mauritius and Seychelles.
